Live Holiday Windows at The Stork’s Cradle!

For the fifth year in a row, The Stork’s Cradle in Downtown Wheaton will host a LIVE rendition of the seasonal favorite, The Nutcracker Ballet, in their store windows for ALL AGES to see!

Families are invited to come December 12-17 from 6:30p.m.-7:30p.m., to watch as each window of The Stork’s Cradle lights up to display a scene from the Nutcracker Ballet, performed by pre-professional ballet dancers from The Academy of Dance Arts directed by award winning instructor, Sherry Moray.

It is The Stork’s Cradle’s way of thanking the community for all their support in 2011…a gift for the holidays!

2nd Annual Holiday Show at the Wheaton Community Center on Dec. 10th

I Spy Santa Contest offers over $500 worth of prizes!

The Downtown Wheaton Association is continuing their “I Spy Santa Contest” this year! Find the Downtown Wheaton Santa hidden in each participating business (list below) 12/5 through December 24th. Anyone who spots the Santa will be allowed to enter their name into the merchant’s Santa box for the drawing for one of four prizes:

1. Grand Prize Gift Basket with over $500 worth of prizes from all participating downtown businesses
2. $50.00 in downtown Wheaton gift certificates
3. $25.00 in downtown Wheaton gift certificates
4. $15.00 in downtown Wheaton gift certificates

Shoppers have the opportunity to enter to win over 800 times for free! If you visit all the participating stores each day of the contest, find the Santa, and submit your raffle entry, you will have entered 840 times, significantly increasing your chances of winning! Of course you might also be accused of stalking Santa.

Entries will be drawn randomly and an individual can only win one of the four prizes. If a name is pulled twice during the official drawing, the shopper will win only the prize from the first pull. The winners will be chosen in January and announced in the January Downtown Wheaton Shoppers’ Club newsletter.
